A Forum Makeover

Post by Bren on 16th May 2013, 8:33 pm

A common thing that has been coming up a lot lately is that CC can be very confusing at times due to the excessive amount of forums. When CC first started, we had a good bit of members. Some of which came over from The Electric Palace. Therefore, they understood about the many forums we had. In an effort to make things easier for everyone, we came up with this plan. We value your input before we implement this.

-Main Office
-Announcements (Admins can only start topics)
-Weekly News

-The Electric Palace
-Tom’s Apple Orchard

-Pete’s Gas and Chow
--The Media Box OR The Media Room OR Jukebox (entertainment)
-Whit’s End, Connellsville
-Old West Fun World - remove?
-Oswald Heights

Hagglers - reorganize
-The Junkyard (unorganized forums)
-The Trashbin (pruning basket for topics)
-The Archive (organized history)
--Past Elections
--Past Events
--Cryogenic Storage

Alrighty, everyone! Tomorrow is the day that we will be enacting this simpler forum layout. A few of the admins, including myself, will be working on this starting around 9:30 pm (mountain time).

During the makeover, we may restrict access to the site so as to minimize confusion and keep things organized. I'm not exactly sure how long the process will take, but it shouldn't be longer than an hour.

If you have any questions, let us know! Smile
